School-in-a-Box for Uganda

With support from Cycling out of Poverty Belgium (CooP-Belgium) and Brussels Airlines, 1,650 kilos of school materials have been sent to Uganda! All material was divided by the Cycling out of Poverty Uganda (CooP-Uganda) team into ‘boxes’ for schools (binders, crayons, rulers, etc.) and bags for students (notebooks, pens, cases, markers, erasers, sharpeners, etc.) etc.). These packages are distributed by CooP-Uganda among students who previously received a bicycle and are now going back to school now that the schools are slowly reopening after the months-long closure due to corona.
