At this moment, a Bike4Care project in Uganda is in preparation, whereby around 400 Village Health Team (VHT) workers will be equipped with bicycles. The VHTs are working in rural areas, where distances to reach patients are long. The bicycles will enable them to move faster and to go further afield, and thus visiting more patients. Our partner organisation in Uganda (BSPW) is preparing the bicycles. The bicycles are equipped with a custom made front carrier, and partly painted red.
