We bring cyclists together to highlight their presence and demonstrate the need for thoughtful urban planning that accommodates them. By organising rides like Critical Mass events and Car-Free Days, we amplify their voices and advocate for better cycling infrastructure.

We lobby and advocate for safe cycling facilities in cities in Africa, because bicycles, and active transport as a whole, play a crucial role in improving livelihoods. This is especially true in African communities, where access to basic services can be challenging. Our advocacy focuses on making cycling a viable and safe mode of transport for students, health workers, farmers, and small entrepreneurs, enabling them to reach schools, hospitals, markets, and workplaces more efficiently.

Additionally, promoting cycling infrastructure helps reduce urban congestion, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and improve air quality. In cities where rapid motorisation threatens sustainability, we lobby to reverse this trend by encouraging cycling-friendly urban planning and lobbying local governments to integrate sustainable mobility into transport policies. Our efforts aim to create a fair and accessible public space where cycling is recognised as a key solution for mobility and economic empowerment.
