In February 2013, 24 bicycles new bicycles were given out to farmers in Gakenke Rwanda. Our partner organisation FAPDR in Rwanda has started with a bicycle project in Gakenke in 2009. CooP-Africa financed the bicycles for the first group of beneficiaries in this village. After this first group had paid off their bicycles, the money has been used for new bicycles for a new group of beneficiaries. Now, this second group of beneficiairies have also paid off their bicycles, enabling our partner organisation to use the revolving funds for a third time to buy new bicycles for a new group of farmers in Gakenke.
