As part of the bike2clean programme in Uganda, a start has been made with the production of tricycles. The tricycles will be used for garbage collection, and are produced in the workshop of our partner organisation BSPW. Arjen Reinders, the volunteer who earlier this year started the tricycle production in Kenya, coached and trained the BSPW staff in how to produce the tricycles, which materials to use, etc. Click here for more information about the bike2clean programme.
