Four students of the Delft University of Technology (Paul van Deelen, Tamar Meijer, Stephan van Meir, Guido Molenaar) are looking into opportunities for bicycles for health care in Kenya. Earlier this year Nick Abreu from Harvard University explored opportunities from the medical point of view, and now these 4 students are focussing on the technical side: what type of bicycle can be used best to improve access to health care in Kenya. For 2 weeks the students will be in Kenya to do research. After that they will continue their research in Delft until early 2011. The students are keeping a blog: http://bike4care.wordpress.com/
