Slowly by slowly tourists are getting to know bicycle tourism. CooP-Africa has been supporting the establishment of bicycle tourism in Kisumu Kenya by Bikeventures. By renting out bicycles, organising events and tours, Bikeventures is providing work and income to office staff and tour guides. While at the same time, the use of bicycle is being promoted among visitors and locals of Kisumu. CooP-Africa is supporting Bikeventures in the starting phase towards a self sustainable enterprise. In the end of November Bikeventures has hosted a group of 12 people cycling to the annual traditional boat races on Lake Victoria. Are you in Kenya and do you want to go on the way with Bikeventures?
