In three different regions in Uganda bicycle mechanics are trained to repair bicycles and support health care workers. The bicycle mechanics learn most of the aspects involved in maintenance and repairs of bicycles. The mechanics will be capacitated to fix bicycles. This will provide them with an income and benefits the more than 300 health workers who will be equipped with bicycles in the Bike4Care project of CooP-Africa. More information about Bike4Care.
