The 1st of July Ko Verpoorte will cycle the Maratone dles Dolomites in Italy. The amount that he collects through donations and contributions from sponsors, will go to the Bike4Work project of CooP-Africa in Rwanda. In 2012 the Maratone dles Dolomites, which attracts about nine thousand participants, will start for the 26th time. Ko Verpoorte: “This is a personal challenge for me, 138 km and 4190 altimeters. And it gets an extra dimension through the apposite charity that I connect to it.”
