This Bike4Care project in Uganda is a joint project of CooP-Uganda, Bernard van Leer Foundation and PSFU. Aim of the Bike4Care intervention in Uganda is to improve accessibility to proper health care and health counselling for isolated communities in Apac, Kumi and Nakapiripirit Province by providing appropriate bicycles. Health workers will be equipped with fortified bicycles. Yong mechanics are trained as entrepreneurs in each of the districts and are functioning as bicycle mechanics.
