Because peace is finally setting in the Katakwi district, bicycles are a useful tool for the people to make a living. The bicycle improves people’s mobility and improves the social-economical position of the families. It opens up new income generating opportunities, enables them to transport more products to the market, improves access to medical and educational facilities, opens up opportunities to diversify their sources of income and improves their social participation.
