A bicycle workshop and training centre is set up in one of the biggest informal settlements of Kisumu, Kenya’s third largest city. By providing trainings, designing and producing (modified) bicycles, and creating employment it is aimed to reduce poverty. In the workshop bicycles are repaired and sold. Also, modified bicycles are developed and produced, such as bicycle carts, bicycle ambulances bicycles with a cooler, bicycles with extended carriers, etc.

• Target group: Small entrepreneurs who want to start a small business with a (modified) bicycle and unemployed youth who want to be trained on bicycle mechanics and other metal works
